take the jump events
Anyone can put on a Take the Jump event!
With our communities, friends, colleagues or networks. Maybe you want to give a talk to you colleagues, or you are part of a local group who’d like to put on an event for members of your wider community? Or maybe you’d like to offer practical help to local people in making sustainable changes?
HOW TO DO IT

Think about why you’re interested and what you’d like to do

Get in touch with us and see if we can help with the event, (publicity, delivery, and linking you up with others who are near by or have done something similar before) at team.ttj@ntcf.nz.
Host your event
Take pictures and share about it so it can be an inspiration for others thinking about hosting their own event!

Workshops
Workshops are a great way to engage people, bring them together, help people learn new things and most of all have fun!
Click here to access different workshop plans we often use at Take the Jump.
Posters
Stalls and community fairs
Clothes swaps
A great way to bring people together and use unwanted clothes in your community. One person’s trash is another person's treasure! Here’s a guide to organising one.
Film nights
A great way to have a low-key gathering with a purpose is to put on a film night in a local space. You can watch a program, film, or documentary related to sustainable change, and then have time together to discuss what the film brought up for you.
For ideas for films related to the seven shifts, check out the ‘How-to’ guides for each shift, towards the end each of them includes a list of films, documentaries, books, podcasts, and TED talks that you could use for your session. All seven can be found on the Help with the Seven Shifts page.
